Our Story
Welcome to our new home on Bampton Street!
In July 2025, Happy Glaze Pottery moved from our much-loved little studio on Gold Street to our forever home on Bampton Street.
After nearly two incredible years in our first studio, we had simply outgrown the space. We wanted to create somewhere that could offer everything our customers loved about Happy Glaze, while giving us room to introduce new experiences, welcome more painters and make every visit even more special.

Why did we move?
As Happy Glaze grew, so did our ideas.
From the very beginning, our dream was to create more than just a pottery painting studio. We wanted somewhere people could relax, slow down and spend quality time together. A place where families could make memories, friends could catch up over coffee, couples could enjoy a creative date and everyone would feel welcome.
Moving to Bampton Street gave us the opportunity to bring that vision to life.
What's changed?
Our new studio has allowed us to grow in so many exciting ways, including:
🎨 A larger pottery painting studio with more space to relax and create.
☕ A café serving barista coffee, delicious cakes and light refreshments.
🍹 A fully licensed bar with cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer and more.
A dedicated baby prints room, for all those precious hand and footprint keepsakes.
🎉 More themed evenings, workshops and seasonal experiences throughout the year.
👨👩👧👦 More seating for families, friends, couples and larger groups.
✨ An ever-growing range of pottery to choose from.
While we've grown, one thing has stayed exactly the same - our aim to create a warm, friendly and welcoming space where everyone can enjoy getting creative.
More than just pottery painting
Since moving to Bampton Street, Happy Glaze has become much more than a pottery painting studio.
Alongside pottery painting, we now host clay workshops, family events, keepsake sessions, adult creative evenings and seasonal experiences throughout the year. We've also introduced our café and licensed bar, making it easy to spend a few relaxing hours with us while you paint.
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, catching up with friends, planning a date or simply looking for something different to do in Tiverton, we'd love to welcome you.
