What’s included in a Paint at Home Kit? Our standard kits include a set of 6 pottery paints (glazes) ready for kiln firing. Some special themed kits may include pottery as part of the set. Do I choose my pottery when ordering? For most kits, you’ll choose and pay for your pottery when you collect your kit from the studio, so you can pick something you love. Are brushes included? Brushes, palettes and sponges are not included in the standard kit, but they are available to purchase in the studio if needed (subject to availability) How long do I have to return my pottery? Please return your finished pottery to the studio within 12 weeks so we can glaze and fire it for you. When will my pottery be ready? Once returned, pottery usually takes around 2–3 weeks to be glazed, fired and ready for collection (longer during busy periods). We will give you an estimated turnaround when you drop your pieces back. What if I make a mistake while painting? Don’t worry! You can usually wipe paint away with a damp sponge while it’s still wet and try again. Darker colours will stain, but should be coverable with 3 coats of paint.
