Transform your home into a pottery studio with our hire kit!
How it works: - Book your kit for your chosen Friday. Each hire runs for up to 7 days (Friday–Friday). - Each kit is suitable for up to 6 people. For larger groups, please book multiple kits. - Collect your kit anytime from 3pm onwards on your booking date. No prior notification required — just pop in. When you pick up, choose your pottery pieces from our shelves and pay only for what you paint (minimum spend of £30 on pottery per kit applies). - Take your kit anywhere you like – garden, park, beach – just don’t forget some water for rinsing brushes! - Return your kit anytime up until 1pm the following Friday. No need to let us know in advance — just pop in during our opening hours. (Please note we are open from 12pm on Fridays) - Leave your painted pottery with us for kiln firing. We’ll text you once everything is ready for collection. - Pick up your finished pieces and marvel at your masterpieces! ✨ What’s in the kit: 14 glazes (2oz bottles) 2 writer bottles (black & white) Paintbrushes Sponges Palettes (1 per person) Water pots (1 per 2 people) Optional upgrades: Upgrade to our full 28-colour glaze range (2oz bottles) – £40 per kit Add extra colours (2oz bottles) – £5 each Add extra writer bottles – £6 each ℹ️ Please note: A £30 deposit is taken at the time of booking and held by us as a damage deposit while the kit is in your care. The deposit will be refunded within 7 days of the successful return of the kit, provided it is complete, clean, and undamaged. Cancellations within 48 hours, missed collections, late returns, or damaged/missing items may affect your deposit. A minimum spend of £30 on pottery applies to each kit hire. Happy Glaze Pottery – Hire Kit Booking Policy Thank you for choosing a Happy Glaze Hire Kit! Please read the following terms before booking. Booking & Deposit A £30 refundable damage deposit is taken at the time of booking. Deposits are refunded within 7 days of the kit being returned in good condition. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of your collection date or fail to collect your kit. Hire Period Each hire runs for up to 7 days (Friday–Friday). Kits may be collected from 3pm onwards on your booked date. Kits must be returned by 1pm on the following Friday at the latest. Kits can be collected and returned at ANY TIME in this window, no prior appointment or notification is required. Regardless of collection time, the return time cannot be moved. Collection & Return Pottery pieces are chosen on collection day and are paid for separately (prices vary by item). Kits must be returned complete, clean, and undamaged. Missing or damaged items may result in part or full loss of the deposit. Late returns may be charged at £10 per day and deducted from your deposit. Use of the Kit Hire Kits are for personal use only and must not be shared outside your household/group. Paints and equipment should be handled with care and kept away from young children unless supervised. Please ensure brushes and tools are rinsed before returning. Pottery Firing Leave all painted pottery with us when you return your kit. Your items will be kiln-fired and we’ll text you once they’re ready for collection (usually 2–3 weeks). We cannot guarantee against kiln faults, but we will always do our best to resolve any issues fairly. Refunds & Cancellations Cancellations made more than 48 hours before collection: deposit refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before collection or failure to collect: deposit forfeited. Refunds for unused pottery cannot be given once items have been fired.
