Home Ed Clay Club Our Home Ed Clay Club is a relaxed, welcoming space for home educated children to get creative, learn new skills, and enjoy working with clay. Each session is guided by our team, with a different project to make each time. Children will learn a range of techniques while building confidence and developing their own creative style. There’s plenty of opportunity to personalise each piece, and more confident makers can explore their own ideas with support from staff. ✨ Guided sessions with a new project each time ✨ Small, friendly group ✨ All materials and firing included This club is best suited to children with some basic clay experience. If your child is new to clay, we recommend starting with our 6-week Beginner Clay Course before joining. This is a guided session rather than a free-make workshop, helping everyone get the most out of their time and create something they’re proud of each week.

Cancellation Policy

Bookings & Cancellations All Clay Club sessions, blocks and courses are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend a session, please let us know as soon as possible. We’re unable to guarantee make-up sessions, but where space allows, we may be able to offer a catch-up session at another time. Missed sessions cannot be refunded or transferred. Session Format Clay Club is a guided, staff-led session. Each session includes one clay project, with room for creativity and personal touches. More confident makers may adapt the design or create their own piece, but this must be agreed with a member of staff and kept within the session time and materials provided. Each booking includes one clay project per session. Supervision & Behaviour Children must be accompanied by an adult, who must remain on site for the duration of the session. Clay Club is not a drop-off session, and accompanying adults are responsible for their child’s behaviour at all times. To ensure sessions run smoothly and are enjoyable for everyone, children are expected to follow instructions, use tools safely, and respect the space and others around them. If behaviour becomes disruptive or unsafe, we may ask the accompanying adult to step in. In rare cases, we reserve the right to refuse future bookings. Studio Capacity Due to limited space, each child may be accompanied by one adult only. We’re unable to accommodate additional family members or spectators during Clay Club sessions. Making & Materials Clay provided is suitable for one project per session. Additional pieces or excessive use of materials are not included. All pieces must be completed within the session time. We’re unable to store unfinished clay between sessions. Painting & Collection Clay pieces will be dried, fired, and ready to return to paint at a later date. Painting is not included within Clay Club sessions and must be booked separately. A studio fee may apply for return visits. We’ll notify you when your items are ready to collect or paint. General By booking, you agree to the above terms so we can keep Clay Club running smoothly, safely, and enjoyably for everyone.
