​​Our Baby Prints appointments take place in the main Happy Glaze studio, with dedicated one-to-one help from a member of our team.

We’ll help you choose suitable pottery, take the best print we can and discuss any names, dates or finishing touches you would like us to add.

Book a Baby Prints appointment

Please choose a dedicated Baby Prints appointment if you would like our team to help take your baby’s handprints or footprints.

Each appointment can include:

  • Up to two babies or young children having prints taken

  • Up to two accompanying people

  • Help choosing suitable pottery and print colours

  • One-to-one support taking the prints

  • Optional personalised names, dates and painted details

There is no booking fee. Simply choose and pay for your pottery and any optional personalisation on the day.

Pottery starts from £10, with plenty of keepsake-friendly options including mugs, plates, hanging decorations and trinket dishes. All pottery prices include glazing and firing.

What happens next?

After your appointment, we’ll carefully finish any personalisation you have requested before glazing and firing your pottery.

Your pieces will be added to the Happy Glaze portal, where you can follow their progress. We’ll email you when they are ready to collect.

Firing times are estimates and some pieces may need an additional firing, but you’ll always be able to see the latest update through the portal.

Taking prints during a regular pottery painting visit

You’re very welcome to take your baby’s prints yourself during a normal pottery painting booking, and our team can offer a few helpful tips.

If you would like dedicated help taking the prints or would like us to complete personalised painted details, please book a Baby Prints appointment instead. This makes sure a trained team member is available to give you the time and support you need.

A few helpful things to know

  • Our ceramic glazes are non-toxic and suitable for baby handprints and footprints.

  • Baby Prints appointments take place in our main painting studio.

  • We do not currently offer clay hand or footprint impressions.

  • Pottery availability changes, so exact shapes and sizes may vary.

  • Buggies are welcome, but please let us know if you are bringing more than one so we can prepare enough space.
